Hannity’s weekly show on KCSB was canceled after less than a year after a controversy. During two shows, gay and lesbian rights were discussed in what was considered to be a contentious manner.

1. He Got His Nickname from a High School Teacher

When he was in high school, Sean was on the wrestling team called the “Hannitys”, which he was able to turn into his persona name. The head coach of the wrestling team began calling Sean “Hannity” and the name stuck with him.

2. He Started His Career as a House Painter

During college, Sean Hannity could not afford tuition and he also needed money for books. So for a few months, he worked as a house painter to make ends meet. He was able to get his degree in Communication Arts and went on to work for the radio.

Sean Hannity was able to make a name for himself in the radio world where he worked for over two decades. He spent 20 years focusing on the talk radio format and was able to build a huge platform.

Sean Hannity is not just a radio host, he is an author as well. Hannity has written several books focusing on topics like religion, politics, and freedom. His most recent book, “Live Free or Die,” has become a New York Times Bestseller.

5. Sean Hannity Was Raised as a Conservative Catholic

Hannity’s family was raised with conservative Catholic beliefs. He was raised to believe that the United States should always be held to a higher standard morally and that the country should maintain a Judeo-Christian moral code.

Sean Hannity is a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and his administration. Hannity was a strong supporter of Trump during and after the 2016 election.

He also donated $300,000 to the Freedom Alliance, which provides scholarships to the sons and daughters of fallen soldiers.

Since 2008, Hannity has been the host of the personal opinion show on the Fox News Channel called Hannity. The show covers topics such as politics, current affairs, and personal opinions.
